What is BRICK ontology?
BRICK is an open ontology for buildings and technical systems that models equipment, points, relationships, and semantics in a machine-readable way.
Unlike pure naming standards, BRICK captures meaning and relationships between objects. This makes BRICK highly useful for search, analytics, and interoperability across platforms.
HubMind view: Combine IEC 81346 for robust reference structure with BRICK for semantics. Together, they provide both stable identity and queryable context.
